Together we bring a combined 30+ years of design experience and enthusiasm buoyed by friendship to every task. We value attention to detail in our work, the power of concise & elegant communication and the loyalty of our clients over the years. Furthermore, we complement each other’s strengths and put heart and soul into each project we tackle.

Because of our experience, passion and commitment to design standards, Brand Coast is uniquely positioned to offer clients personal attention and an array of design services including: brand identity, naming, brand guidelines, event visual language, print collateral systems, packaging, signage systems, invitation design, book design, event art direction, advertising, and web design.

We are immensely influenced by what a coastline signifies—the convergence of land, sea and air, the blending of different elements to create something new. This is the goal at Brand Coast—to merge our passions, ideas and experiences to create something entirely new for our clients.

While living in New York City, Rachel worked in the print design department for The Knot establishing the aesthetic and templates for their magazines and branding for their wedding registry. After The Knot, Rachel worked at various design firms creating, developing and managing diamond and luxury good brands in conjunction with their marketing programs and consumer presence. In 2007, Rachel moved to Santa Monica, and worked directly with clients, developing the branding for companies such as Bain Capital Ventures and HUM Nutrition. A few years later while continuing to pursue her client work, Rachel created and launched Lupa & Pepi—a consumer brand that specializes in personalized papergoods and party decor. When she’s not designing, Rachel can be found cooking pasta, enjoying an afternoon at the park with her husband, baby boy Wyatt and dog Rocco or playing bocce by the beach.

While at small, boutique agencies in New York early in his career, Andrew enhanced and built international brands such as Nikon, Mattel, and JetBlue. In 2006, Andrew ventured out on his own and created the event branding and design for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for 16 seasons in NY, LA and Miami. Andrew has created identities for local NY restaurants and event branding for non-profit galas and tasting events. When not working or obsessing about design Andrew bikes around LA (he recently made the leap from NY), trains for marathons, searches for the world’s best burger and seeks inspiration in his travels.
